Terre Property Partners welcomes DGL as first tenant at $65M Cavan Connect Logistics Park project in Adelaide’s North

Terre Property Partners has welcomed DGL Group, a leading provider of chemical storage, warehousing and distribution  services, as the first tenant at their AUD65M Cavan Connect Logistics Park in Adelaide’s Inner North, having already commenced construction.

Cavan Connect Logistics Park is a 5ha logistics estate situated in Adelaide’s inner northern region of Cavan.

With Churchill Road North and Port Wakefield Road on the site’s doorstep, as well as access to surrounding major transport routes including Grand Junction Road, Northern Connector and the Port River Expressway, Cavan Connect provides ultimate connectivity and access to the Adelaide metropolitan area and interstate freight networks, making it a desirable location for a wide range of industrial and logistics enterprises.

DGL is the first tenant to join the precinct, occupying approximately 7,200 square metres of the purpose-built estate and marking the commencement of the overall delivery, with construction due for completion in August 2025.

With over 25 years of expertise, DGL is a global leader in chemical formulation, storage and distribution services to essential industries throughout Australia and New Zealand. The best in class purpose-built facility located in South Australia compliments DGL’s existing national footprint and provides the ability to continue delivering a wide range of solutions across the chemical services industry at a larger scale.

Terre Property Partners CEO, Mark Brammy, is delighted to be partnering with DGL on this exciting project and looks forward to playing a part in the company’s growth they will experience as a direct result of the new facility and its premier location.

“We welcome DGL to Cavan Connect. This is a significant project for the South Australian logistics sector, given the size, scale and storage flexibility this purpose-built facility provides DGL, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting company to kick off this project with”.

“This opportunity allows for DGL to grow, consolidate, and invest into a totally new purpose-built facility designed solely for not only their needs but also those of their customers. The facility will provide DGL, the ability to confirm its enviable position as a best in class operation providing flexible, bespoke services to the industry,” said Mark.

DGL has seen considerable growth over the years, with founder and CEO, Simon Henry, explaining his excitement for this new chapter, eager to see the company grow even further.

“This new facility will provide DGL with the much-needed capacity to service our growing South Australian customer base. Moving into this new purpose-built facility will ensure DGL is fully compliant with complex regulations governing the storage of chemicals. Designed to accommodate B-double truck movements, and with immediate access to key arterial routes, this new site will ensure DGL continues to provide excellent service to key customers and clients in the region.”

Mark continued, “the Cavan Connect project highlights our continued investment into the South Australian economy. We believe in all the great things we do here, and whilst we continue to expand our national portfolio of high quality Industrial and Logistics assets across the eastern seaboard, we will continue to seek high quality development opportunities within South Australia given its strong economic fundamentals.”

DGL will be located within Terre’s Cavan Connect Logistics Park at Unit 1, 23 Stock Road, Cavan.
